He shall come down like the rain

It is summer time and summer rains are common to us. With the rains we've had lately, our yard needs mowing at least twice a week. When we mow, we do not get rid of all the grass. In fact, we leave some so that there would be new growth and hope for a thick lawn don't we? Last year, we've been under a drought and longed for a drop of rain. Our pond dried up. The grass was scant and the ground cracked. The leaves on the trees were a horrible sight to see. There was also an abundance of wildfires. Rain was prayed for by everyone around. Our lives were being affected. Livestock also. There seemed to be no end to the drought. Everything and everyone was perishing in some way. The Lord answered our prayers- in His timing. We are now getting the rains. The parched earth is drinking up with pleasure. The grass is so much greener. The animals are happier. The trees are healthier looking. Everything is transformed from ugly to beautiful. Rain does that to nature. You can wa
