November is the month where a lot of people give thanks. This is Thanksgiving week. There are a lot of planned activities which vary for each of us. Some people still have to work while others plan their shopping expeditions, especially for the Black Friday deals. Still there are also others who are struggling and this week is hard for them because they cannot make ends meet. I pray that we can reach out to someone this week and help them in any way we can-no matter how small. Even the smallest kind gesture can make a difference to someone's life. We may be the light in their dark lives. Yes, we can make a difference. I would like to start off this week by announcing a giveaway! Someone can win an Amazon e-gift card. It is wonderful to read some of the answers to the question in the giveaway: Who is the one person who can make you smile even on a bad day? Many had similar answers: kids, hubby, grandbabies, friends, moms, pets. Some even said it was hard to pick one. That's great too, isn't it? I too would say hubby, kids, mom and my friend, Sheena. She lives far away, but when we are on the phone, we can talk a long time. She always seem to understand me and no matter what mood I may be i n, we always share lots of laughter- genuine ones.  A couple people put Jesus as their answers. I definitely agree with that because I firmly believe that no matter may happen, He's the One who gives me the inner strength to keep on going. On a lighter note, no matter what answer you put, I am happy that there is someone who can make you put a smile on your face. Keep smiling. Keep shining and when obstacles come your way, use them as stepping stone. God bless!

I haven't been feeling well for quite some time but God is still good to me. The cold weather is on its way out and sunshine is starting to bombard us. Today is the official first day of Spring.
